Before setting up for transit mode, ensure that the belt and the feed boot are clear of any material. Also always use the appropriate vehicle for hauling the conveyor, taking into consideration the weight and the size of the machine.

To set the conveyor up for transit mode the following steps must be followed:

· If the wheels are in the radial position, turn them back to the normal position.

· Lower the head section height to the lowest position via the locking pins on the telescopic head section legs.

· The head section can now be folded over and rested on the folding support.

· If the power pack for the conveyor is to be disconnected, cap off the connections to prevent unwanted dirt in the hydraulic system.
